Job DescriptionCORPORATE ACCOUNTANTJob Summary - Manage the corporate-level month end close, daily accounting, AP, payroll, allocations, and more.
- Maintain the general ledger by posting entries in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries for intercompany allocations.
- Maintain vendor master data, ensure accuracy of W-9 documentation.
- Manage executive and corporate travel expense in compliance with policy.
- Develop and maintain corporate level accounting process flowcharts.
- Identify and research opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Provide documentation to external auditors.
Experience and SkillsAbout YOU! - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close, multi-entity environment preferred. Public accounting experience a plus.
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products including Excel.
- Exposure to lender reporting environments (borrowing base, covenant compliance) or audit support for asset-based lending facilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Range:
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $90,000 to $110,000 annualized, not including other competitive benefits.
