We are hiring an Accountant IV!
TIDI Products is seeking to fill our Accountant IV position who reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller. The purpose of the Account IV position is to provide general accounting support, which will require working closely with specific members of the operations accounting team and broader Finance team as needed. The Accountant IV will assist with the full accounting cycle in ensuring the sound application of accounting principles and controls, while maintaining accuracy of the data.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes by preparing complex journal entries, accruals, monthly account reconciliations and provide supporting information needed for financial statement preparation.
• Perform first level review of all subsidiary accounts during month end close, provide feedback to general ledger staff and work with them on resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure accounting transactions are coded accurately. Identify, address and correct any transaction reporting inaccuracies through review prior to submission of ledger to be used in preparation of financial statements.
• Analyze general ledger activity to identify and explain budget variances. Respond to inquiries made by accounting or operations management.
• Perform and interpret statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process. Assist with account budgeting and/or loading into the ERP system.
• Lead in the development and documentation of financial policies, procedures, and work instructions, making sure they are current and in-line with sound internal controls.
• Assist in monitoring corporate controls and auditing in place control procedures.
• Provide support for financial and tax audits; interact with external auditors as needed. Participate in, or lead, internal audits as they arise.
• Identify and implement general ledger and monthly close process improvement opportunities.
• Manage or support the Payroll, Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting functions as needed.
• Assist with Sales and Franchise tax reporting as needed.
• Train and/or support Corporate Accountant I, II, III as needed.
• Complete miscellaneous projects for the Assistant Corporate Controller, Corporate Controller and CFO, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 6 years professional experience in related field.
• Travel is expected to be limited.

• Must be proficient in maintaining procedures and controls in all accounting cycles.
• Proficient computer systems knowledge in business application systems, personal computers, spreadsheets and databases, and ERP systems. (MSWord, Excel & Outlook)
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proven track record to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Continuous improvement focus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent inter-personal skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and work closely with other team members.
• Ability to work independently.
Estimated starting annual base salary pay ranges is $95,000 - $110,000, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances.
