Full Job Description
This position reports to:
Vice President of Sales,Energy Industrie

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the corporate account strategy for ABB's installed base power generation customers. The role is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will mange corporate level relationships, coordinate sales activities across the territory teams, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems at the corporate level. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid (Houston or Cleveland Based) {#LI-Hybrid}

This role is contributing to the growth of ABB AUEN business in the conventional power generation markets of the USA.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Leading the development and implementation of the corporate account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
  • Development and growth of key corporate and executive level relationships in the assigned accounts.
  • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer and working in close tandem with the territory teams that cover the various sites.
  • Providing input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.

Qualifications for the role
  • Experience in the Power Generation industry
  • 10+ years of experience in Industrial Automation major greenfield sales pursuits.
  • Experienced in executive level and senior management level discussions around automation projects.
  • Experience creating unique value propositions and understanding strategic selling principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid USA work authorization
