Cores Silicon Validation Engineer
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Systems Design Engineer to join our growing team. THE PERSON:
As a Systems Design Engineer, you will drive scalable and automated solutions. In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Experience in System Validation and Hardware Design Validation
• Strong understanding of core architecture; experience in core validation, running benchmarks/workloads
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and OS-based workloads/benchmarks
• programming/scripting experience in languages such as C/C++, Perl, Ruby, and Python
• Proficient in debugging techniques and methodologies
• Experience in software programming and tool management is an advantage
• Extensive expertise in board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
• Deep knowledge of system architecture, technical debugging, and validation strategies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and capable of independently driving tasks to completion
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).
• Debug techniques and methodologies
• Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
• Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization
• Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering
