About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Core Logging Geologist to join our Exploration Office in Timmins, ON. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8 hours/day.

In this role, you will assist the underground diamond drill group primarily logging core for the Bell Creek and Timmins West mine sites as well as for various regional exploration projects. You also may be required to assist with creating diamond drill hole layouts, entering daily drill statistics, and sectional interpretations of the targeted zones.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

Position Details

Compensation: This position offers a compensation range of $38.00-$43.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

More About You

While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

• Must either be a PGO member or be eligible to apply for PGO or GIT membership in the Province of Ontario
• 1-3 years' experience working on diamond drill projects conducting a variety of duties to assist the exploration/mine geologist.
• Familiar with logging, sampling of drill core and core handling procedure.
• Experience using computers and Microsoft office programs.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
