Full Job Description
Poshmark is seeking a strategic and creatively driven Copywriter to join the Creative Team. This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining the voice of the Poshmark brand across every customer-facing touchpoint - from paid social campaigns and lifecycle marketing to in-app messaging, editorial storytelling, and product experiences.

The ideal candidate is both a brand storyteller and a performance-minded writer who understands how language influences engagement, conversion, retention, and customer sentiment. This individual brings exceptional writing craft, strong creative instincts, and the ability to adapt messaging across multiple formats and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

This role works cross-functionally with Creative, Growth Marketing, Product, CRM, Merchandising, and Social teams to deliver compelling, channel-native copy that reflects the intersection of fashion, culture, resale, and community that defines Poshmark.

Responsibilities
Brand & Marketing Copywriting
  • Write and edit customer-facing copy across paid social, email marketing, push notifications, landing pages, in-app messaging, onboarding flows, editorial content, and integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure all copy aligns with Poshmark's voice, tone, and brand positioning across channels and customer experiences.
  • Contribute to campaign ideation, messaging development, and creative brainstorming alongside cross-functional teams.
Channel-Specific Content Development
  • Adapt tone, structure, and messaging to suit platform-specific behaviors and user expectations across email, mobile, social, web, and app experiences.
  • Develop concise, compelling headlines, CTAs, captions, and campaign messaging optimized for mobile-first environments.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to ensure copy and visual storytelling work cohesively together.
Performance & Lifecycle Marketing
  • Partner with Growth and CRM teams to create and optimize conversion-focused copy for acquisition, retention, reactivation, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Write and test multiple copy variations informed by engagement metrics, CTR, open rates, and campaign performance data.
  • Iterate quickly based on testing results and business objectives.
Brand Voice Stewardship
  • Help define, evolve, and maintain Poshmark's brand voice and tone guidelines.
  • Serve as a resource for copy consistency and quality across teams and contributors.
  • Ensure messaging reflects the brand's personality, values, and connection to fashion and resale culture.
AI-Enabled Content Workflows
  • Utilize AI writing tools and LLM-assisted workflows to support ideation, drafting, testing, localization, and content scalability while maintaining editorial quality and human-centered storytelling.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends in content strategy, digital storytelling, social voice, and AI-assisted creative processes.
6-Month Accomplishments

Within the first six months, the Copywriter will:
  • Successfully onboard into Poshmark's brand voice, messaging frameworks, and marketing workflows.
  • Independently manage copywriting across key customer-facing channels, including email, push, paid social, and in-app experiences.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Creative, Growth, Product, CRM, and Merchandising teams.
  • Deliver high-quality, on-brand copy that supports campaign objectives and customer engagement goals.
  • Contribute fresh messaging ideas and platform-native copy approaches across marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using AI-assisted writing tools within the creative process.
12-Month Accomplishments

Within the first twelve months, the Copywriter will:
  • Become a trusted voice steward and strategic creative partner across major campaigns and initiatives.
  • Lead messaging development for integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Help evolve and refine Poshmark's voice and tone standards across customer experiences.
  • Demonstrate measurable impact through improved engagement, conversion, retention, and lifecycle campaign performance.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience, ideally within a consumer brand, marketplace, fashion/lifestyle company, or agency environment supporting DTC or app-based clients.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating range across brand storytelling, performance marketing, UX writing, editorial content, and digital campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to tone, clarity, and brevity.
  • Ability to adapt messaging across multiple formats, audiences, and platforms while maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
  • Strong headline writing and storytelling instincts with an understanding of how copy drives user behavior.
  • Experience writing for paid social, email marketing, push notifications, landing pages, and in-app messaging.
  • Understanding of copy optimization principles, including engagement metrics, conversion drivers, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
