Qualifications

• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Proficient legal writing abilities.
• Courtroom confidence and professionalism in client interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Empathetic approach with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from start to finish.
• Represent clients in hearings and various legal proceedings before the WCAB.
• Conduct client intake and provide consistent communication throughout cases.
• Draft essential legal documents including pleadings and trial briefs.
• Handle discovery processes involving depositions and expert testimonies.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare relevant agreements and stipulations.
• Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to advance cases efficiently.
• Stay updated on California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
