Full Job Description
Dolby Global Social is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Coordinator to support the execution of our global social media programs. This is a hands-on role that supports content production, publishing, trend research, reporting, and day-to-day social operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital platforms, social media, and popular culture, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll help support the systems and processes behind Dolby's social presence while working closely with team members across content, production, and community management.

What You'll Do

Content & Production Coordination
  • Support recurring content series and campaigns by helping maintain timelines, deliverables, and project schedules.
  • Assist with the creation, formatting, and organization of static and video creative assets.
  • Provide production support for content creation initiatives as needed.
  • Coordinate logistics and help ensure content and assets are delivered on time.


Platform & Posting Operations
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Letterboxd, Threads, and other platforms using Sprout Social or native publishing tools.
  • Review captions, links, creative assets, accessibility requirements, and platform specifications prior to publication.
  • Support community management efforts as needed, including occasional evening or weekend coverage during major campaigns, events, or launches.


Trend Tracking & Research
  • Monitor social media trends, cultural conversations, and platform developments, identifying opportunities relevant to Dolby's audiences and business objectives.
  • Analyze emerging content patterns and audience interests to inform future content planning.
  • Translate research and insights into actionable recommendations for the team.


Analytics & Reporting
  • Gather and organize performance metrics across social platforms.
  • Identify top-performing content and key engagement trends.
  • Develop campaign recap reports that provide meaningful insights and recommendations for future optimization.


Internal Team Support
  • Support day-to-day operational activities including asset management, content organization, and inbox monitoring.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for stakeholder meetings and campaign reviews.
  • Contribute to team priorities as business needs evolve and collaborate across functions to support shared goals.


What You'll Bring
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media, content coordination, production support, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting content creation, publishing, or social media programs for consumer, entertainment, technology, media, or related brands.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital trends, and online communities.
  • Familiarity with Sprout Social or similar social media management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with RedNote, Bilibili, or other emerging social platforms is a plus.
  • Interest in entertainment, sports, music, film, technology, or broader pop culture trends.
  • Curiosity about digital culture, content trends, and evolving social media behaviors.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.


Location & Travel

Based in the Los Angeles area (office located in Burbank). This role operates in a hybrid environment, combining remote work with periodic in-person collaboration and production support, generally averaging approximately one day per week on-site. Additional travel may be required to support production and campaign activities.

Reports to: Global Senior Specialist, Content

The Los Angeles Area base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000 - 108,000, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
