This position will remain open until filled. The first screening of applications will take place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the economical procurement and contracting of large quantities of highly technical and specialized complex commodities. This includes the development and approval of the quality of products and involves detailed knowledge of specialized commodities. Work requires considerable contact with schools, departments, vendors, and community. Work is performed with high degree of independence and decision-making. Work is periodically reviewed by supervisor through conferences and reports for conformance with established policies, procedures, and purchasing regulations. Additionally, this position manages, prepares, and maintains all records and documents associated with Universal Service Fund (E-Rate). This position recognizes and recommends policy or procedural changes accordingly. This position has a thorough knowledge of the Universal Service Fund. This position deals with internal and external customers and represents the Division at Universal Service Fund (E Rate) conferences and meetings. This position gives presentations and communicates orally and in writing with the public. This position keeps informed on legislation that affects the Universal Service Fund (E-Rate).
Job Description
SALARY:
FY26 G14: $97,631 - $158,261 per year (competitive benefits)
This position is effective July 1, 2026. Annualized compensation will be published upon approval of the FY27 salary scales and will reflect amounts for Steps 1 - 20.
