JOB STATUS: OPEN EFFECTIVE: 2026-27 POSTING DATE: 07/08/2026 CLOSING DATE: 09/30/2026 04:30 PM POSTING NUMBER: 00059723 SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Eligibility and Child Find LOCATION: Prince William County,VA POSITION TITLE: COORDINATOR, PRESCHOOL CHILD FIND - A223A DAY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS: This position will remain open until filled. The first screening of applications will take place at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Applications received after that date may be reviewed and considered as they are received. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site. JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing direct support for the Child Find process, conducting screenings and observations, and facilitating Child Find/eligibility meetings. The position is responsible for ensuring state and local timelines are met regarding the identification process for children suspected of having a disability, and ensuring the proper identification of the suspected area of disability. The coordinator will assist in compiling and analyzing data regarding the number of students referred and going through the Child Find process, to include outcomes related to the eligibility process. Job Description SALARY: Grade 16 Salary Range: $98,139 - $159,084 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package DAYS: 223 FULL TIME/PART TIME: Full Time
