Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management Technology and Student Experience, the Coordinator of Student Experience Technology coordinates the administration, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of technology systems that support the student experience across the enrollment lifecycle. The coordinator serves as a functional administrator for assigned student success, enrollment management, and student services technologies, including AI-enabled tools and enterprise applications, and supports technology-enabled business processes that improve operational efficiency and student success.

Working collaboratively with Student Services and Enrollment Management departments, Academic Affairs, Information Technology, Institutional Research, and external partners, the coordinator supports system administration, reporting, integrations, training, documentation, business process improvement, and user adoption while promoting effective, student-centered use of technology.

The coordinator serves as a campus resource and consultant regarding student experience technologies, researches and evaluates emerging technologies, and promotes effective adoption of technology-enabled practices that advance student success and institutional effectiveness

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
  1. Coordinate technology solutions that support recruitment, admissions, onboarding, advising, financial aid, registration, retention, student engagement, wellness, and completion.
  2. Serve as the primary functional administrator for assigned student success technologies, including EAB Navigate and successor or complementary platforms, providing system configuration, workflow design, permissions, security, troubleshooting, testing, upgrades, documentation, and change management.
  3. Coordinate the implementation, administration, and continuous enhancement of degree planning technologies, including Jenzabar Degree Planning, AI-assisted degree planning solutions, and related student planning tools.
  4. Coordinate integrations and data exchange among student success, student information, CRM, communication, and other enterprise systems supporting the student experience.
  5. Consult with departments across the College to identify technology needs, evaluate business processes, and develop technology-enabled solutions that improve service delivery and the student experience.
  6. Coordinate technology implementation projects, including project planning, testing and validation activities, business process analysis, workflow documentation, and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and the student experience.
  7. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, analytics, and assessment tools to evaluate technology utilization, business processes, operational effectiveness, student engagement, and student success outcomes.
  8. Evaluate system functionality, user needs, and business processes, providing recommendations to improve workflows, technology utilization, and the student experience.
  9. Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, user support resources, and communications related to technology implementations, system updates, workflow changes, and student success initiatives to promote effective utilization and adoption.
  10. Create and maintain user guides, standard operating procedures, workflow documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources; translate technical concepts into clear guidance and provide ongoing functional support for end users.
  11. Coordinate ongoing operational support, testing, system maintenance activities, upgrades, and release management for assigned technology platforms.
  12. Research, evaluate, pilot, and recommend emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, that support enrollment management, advising, student engagement, retention, and student success initiatives.
  13. Coordinate student employees, interns, or project team members as assigned.
  14. Perform related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field; with
  2. Five (5) years of experience and/or training that includes enterprise systems administration, project coordination, business process improvement, enrollment management technology, student services technology, analytics, reporting, and technology-enabled student success initiatives; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  3. Demonstrated experience implementing, administering, or supporting enterprise technology systems and coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and competing priorities.
  4. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, project coordination, problem-solving, and technical training skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences through effective documentation and training.
  5. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI-supported tools, to improve operational effectiveness and student success.
  6. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Experience working in a community college or higher education environment.
  2. Experience administering student success, student information, CRM, degree planning, or other enterprise systems, including AI-enabled technologies (e.g., EAB Navigate360, Jenzabar, Element451, Slate, Salesforce).
  3. Knowledge of enrollment management, advising, student services, retention, and student success practices.

Additional Information:

COMPENSATION: Full-time, year-round MCCC Unit Position; Grade 6 (Coordinator of Academic Computing) with an anticipated annual salary range of $78,818-$88,836. Actual salary will be consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option for membership in the Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System.
