Full Job Description
The Controls Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering standardized global training programs and developing hands-on and classroom-based modules focused on automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and robotics. This role ensures engineers and technical staff have the knowledge and skills necessary to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automation systems safely and effectively. The Controls Technical Trainer will evaluate competency levels, design tailored learning experiences, and maintain up-to-date training materials aligned with evolving technologies and industry standards.

What you'll be handling
  • Deliver global training programs and design technical training modules for automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, robotics).
  • Assess engineers' technical knowledge, identify skill gaps, and maintain a comprehensive skills matrix for commissioning engineers.
  • Conduct new hire training to prepare employees for project site assignments.
  • Maintain and update training documentation to reflect technological advancements and internal standards.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting guidance and practical demonstrations during training sessions.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers, project leads, and maintenance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs.
What you'll need
