Job Description

We are looking for Control System Engineers with strong experience in Gas Turbine Controls development. The role requires expertise in control logic design, sequencing, interlocks, protection logic, testing, validation, and commissioning support for gas turbine applications.

Candidates should have strong understanding of gas turbine operation and processes along with hands-on experience in DCS, PLC, or turbine control platforms. Experience with GE Mark VIe is preferred. However, candidates with relevant gas turbine controls experience on other control platforms are welcome.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and modify control logic and sequencing for gas turbine control systems
  • Develop interlocks, permissives, alarms, trips, and protection logic
  • Work on control loops, logic testing, and functional validation
  • Review control philosophy, P&IDs, signal lists, and other engineering documents
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies before software implementation
  • Support software testing, FAT, SAT, SWAT, and commissioning activities
  • Support startup, commissioning, remote troubleshooting, and issue resolution in collaboration with engineering and site teams.
  • Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and internal engineering teams for requirements clarification and execution


Work Experience

Required Skills
  • Strong experience in Gas Turbine Controls
  • Hands-on experience in logic development and sequencing
  • Experience with DCS, PLC, or turbine control platforms in industrial or power generation environments
  • Experience in PID loops, interlocks, permissives, alarms, and trip logic
  • Experience in testing, validation, FAT / SAT / SWAT
  • Good understanding of gas turbine operation, auxiliary systems, startup/shutdown sequence, and protection philosophy
  • Ability to troubleshoot control issues using both process knowledge and logic-level analysis.
  • Experience in commissioning / startup support is an advantage
  • Familiarity with GE Mark VIe is preferred
  • Experience supporting related systems such as steam turbine, HRSG, or plant auxiliary interfaces is beneficial
  • Familiarity with simulation tools, virtual controllers, or model-based validation environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and global engineering teams

Education Qualifications: BS/MS (Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Systems, or related engineering discipline)

Selection Criteria (Important Note)

This is a core controls engineering role. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience in logic development and turbine process control. Applicants whose experience is limited solely to SCADA/HMI support or graphics development without a background in control logic and sequencing will not be considered.
