Do you enjoy the challenge of using your own skills and experience to design and build automated systems? If so, this position may be the right fit for you! As a Controls Engineer at Hydro-Gear, you will use your controls skills and your project management capabilities to succeed in deploying and integrating line automation improvements. In addition, this role will actively search for ways to improve efficiency and reliability of the assembly processes.

Core Responsibilities of our Controls Engineer:
- Design, program, and support automated manufacturing systems
- Work with robots and PLCs to operate and optimize production equipment
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation, wiring diagrams, and PLC standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and improve efficiency
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in electrical controls
- 5+ years related experience/training or bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with Axis Robots, SCARA Robots and PLC's
- Knowledge of applicable codes such as NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.
