Job Summary:
As a Facilities Controls Engineer, you will be responsible to maintain, update, trouble shoot and improve the controls system for industrial machining equipment, and integrated robotic assemblies across a machine shop.
What You Will Do:
- Provide Controls Engineering support for industrial machines including but not limited to CNC machining centers using Siemens S7/TIA/Starter/WinCCflex, Fanuc Ladder 3, Fanuc R-30i robots, Kuka KR C4/5 robots, Cognix Insight/Dataman, and Bosch/Rexroth controllers.
- Modify / Program PLC/HMI/PMC and NC based machines.
- Provide Controls Engineering support on vision systems, robotics, and data management.
- Participate in the specification, installation, and launch of new equipment from a controls perspective.
- Work with maintenance to assist in machine troubleshooting, repair, and training maintenance technicians as necessary. Proficiency with oscilloscopes, soldering, and thermal imaging cameras preferred.
- Lead and execute asset health analysis to enable informed decision making by facility leadership.
What You Will Have:
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Technical Problem Solving: Knowledgeable and capable of troubleshooting and / or modifying programs on various types of PLCs: Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, Fanuc, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and data management.
- Strong logic programming, VFD and servo motor amplifier/NC (Siemens and Fanuc) and IP Networking skills and background.
- Ability read ladder diagrams and schematics (Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic).
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, mentor and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

- Shift: Monday – Friday, 2p-10:30p (7% Shift Premium!)
Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
