What you Will Do:The Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Engineer II to join the Engine System Software organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
- Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software requirements and designs within an Agile Framework.
- Conduct iterative prototype testing and reviews of requirements and designs.
- Perform software verification within the Agile Framework including regression analysis, test case development, test script development and evaluation of results.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Participate in software planning, estimating and tracking per Agile framework.
- Potential to serve as Agile Scrum Master and/or part of the Development Team.
Qualifications You Must Have:- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 2 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree
Qualifications We Prefer:- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Solid track record of achieving results in a technical role.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure engineering environment.
- Prior experience developing software in an Agile framework.
- Prior safety critical software development experience.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO178B.
- Outstanding cross discipline communication skills.
- Familiarity with jet engine control and diagnostic system architectures and control logic design.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
