You will ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting while collaborating with various departments to improve cost control and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and deliver financial statements, KPI reports, and plant-level P&L analysis; explain variances to operations and corporate leadership.
- Develop budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial plans in partnership with plant leadership.
- Oversee cost accounting functions: standard costs, inventory valuation, scrap, WIP, and overhead allocation.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls; support external audits.
- Drive cost reduction, process efficiency, and margin enhancement initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop plant accounting staff.
- Support capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and project accounting.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment; 2 years in a supervisory or controller role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience with financial reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos, etc.) a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and high integrity.
