Salary: $110,000-$130,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time | Primarily In-Office | Hybrid - 3 Days in Office, 2 Days from Home
You9ll take ownership of the company9s day-to-day accounting operations.
This is a hands-on position where you will both perform and oversee core accounting functions.
- Manage and perform accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and cash accounts
- Prepare general ledger entries and month-end adjustments
- Assist with payroll processing and accuracy checks
- Support monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Support accounting and finance projects
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
- Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company9s financial information
- Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and processes
What We9re Looking For- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience taking ownership of day-to-day accounting operations
- Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar experience preferred
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
- Willingness and ability to remain hands-on with day-to-day accounting responsibilities
- Bachelor9s or Associate9s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
- Experience in public accounting or a CPA firm is a plus, but not required
