Full Job Description
This role is critical in maintaining the financial health of the company by managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Controller will work closely with the owner, and operational managers to support strategic decision making and drive financial performance.

Role Summary:
  • Oversee all aspects of the Company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of the company's strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Supervise and mentor the Accounting team, including AP/AR personnel and payroll staff.
  • Oversee inventory control, costing and valuation to ensure accurate COGS and financial reporting.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent (required)
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in accounting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; advanced Excel knowledge is required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably EPICOR) including consolidation reporting tools
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handing sensitive information
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
