You'll have ownership over the day-to-day accounting operations while helping shape the future of our Finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, cash flow, and working capital.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls while ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Drive process improvements by leveraging automation and technology to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop meaningful financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business performance.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Support the Finance function as the company scales through cross-functional projects, system implementations, and process optimization.
What We're Looking For
- CPA designation (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with multi-entity or cross-border accounting (Canada, US, or Mexico).
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern ERP/accounting systems.
- Comfortable working with evolving processes and shifting priorities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across departments.

Compensation & Benefits
