Role OverviewThe Controller - Multi Unit, Multi-Service - (Nutrition and Environmental Services) position will support The University Hospital Health System located in Cleveland, Ohio.
A valid driver's license and acceptable driver's license record check is required.
What You'll Do- Oversee financial operations across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with Sodexo policies and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and reporting to maintain accuracy and integrity of data
- Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across all units, aligning financial plans with organizational goals
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting Consolidate financial statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
- Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and internal control enhancements
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity for all units to ensure financial stability

What You Bring- Pay attention to detail
- demonstrate strong Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables) required
- Have effective written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong finance knowledge, as well as strong research and analytical skills
- Monitor KPIs and dashboards for financial health and operational performance across units
- Can manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Financial experience within the hospital, food service, or environmental services industry is preferred
Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
