Medical City Arlington ControllerShift - Days Job Summary and QualificationsThe Controller will serve as a key member of the hospital's leadership team and is responsible for the strategic direction, management, and oversight of the Finance and Revenue Integrity functions. This role plans, directs, and coordinates the operational activities of the Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Revenue Integrity departments to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The Controller also develops and implements policies and procedures that support compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and audit standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes and preparation of financial statements, as well as leading the development and monitoring of the facility's operating and capital budgets.
The Controller partners with organizational leaders to support facility-wide productivity initiatives, provide financial planning and ad hoc analysis, and drive informed business decision-making. This position is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, developing, and retaining qualified finance staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
As a member of Medical City Arlington's management team, the Controller plays a significant role in supporting the hospital's mission, strategic objectives, and reputation within the community. Performs other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:- 4 years' experience Required Years of Experience
- Four-year college degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field. Master's degree in these areas preferred.
