Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial close process to provide clear, actionable financial insights
  • Transform data into insights concerning margins, shrink, spoilage, and route profitability
  • Manage inventory accuracy and cost control practices, including FIFO and landed costs
  • Analyze costs related to operational performance such as cost per route and productivity
  • Oversee cash management activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and forecasting
  • Ensure financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness are consistently upheld
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development efforts
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team

Full Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on Controller who goes beyond the books to control margins, optimize inventory, and power smarter decisions across Operations, Transportation, Warehouse, and Purchasing.

This is where finance meets operations-and where your work directly drives profitability, efficiency, and growth.

Shift: Monday-Friday onsite 5 days

Hours: 8AM-5:30PM

Salary $150k-$170k DOE

Your Impact
  • Lead the close process and deliver clear, decision-ready financials
  • Turn data into insight: margins, shrink, spoilage, route profitability
  • Own inventory accuracy & cost control (FIFO, landed cost, rebates)
  • Analyze operational performance (cost per route, labor, productivity)
  • Keep cash moving: AR, AP, forecasting, banking
  • Ensure strong controls, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development
  • Lead and elevate a high-performing finance team

What You Bring
  • 7-10+ years of accounting experience (distribution/logistics a strong plus)
