Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of accounting experience, particularly in distribution/logistics is advantageous
• Strong understanding of inventory management and gross margin optimization
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on, operational focus

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial close process to provide clear, actionable financial insights
• Transform data into insights concerning margins, shrink, spoilage, and route profitability
• Manage inventory accuracy and cost control practices, including FIFO and landed costs
• Analyze costs related to operational performance such as cost per route and productivity
• Oversee cash management activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and forecasting
• Ensure financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness are consistently upheld
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development efforts
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team
