We seeking a highly skilled
Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, cash management, job costing, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Reporting directly to the President, this is a key leadership role for an experienced construction accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on environment.
What You'll Own:✓ Financial reporting & month-end close
✓ Job costing, WIP schedules & project profitability analysis
✓ Percentage-of-completion accounting
✓ Multi-state payroll, tax & compliance oversight
✓ Cash flow management, budgeting & forecasting
✓ AP, AR & payroll team leadership
✓ Audit, insurance & bonding coordination
✓ Strategic partnership with executive leadership
What We're Looking For:✓ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
✓ 7+ years of accounting experience with senior leadership responsibility
✓ 5+ years of construction accounting experience required
✓ Expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and construction billing
✓ Knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax compliance
✓ Experience with Spectrum, Vista, Sage 300, Foundation, or similar ERP systems
✓ CPA preferred

- Partner directly with ownership and executive leadership
