A well-established, privately held company serving the construction and property services industry on Cape Cod is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead its accounting function during an exciting period of growth.
You'll oversee full-cycle accounting, including the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, payroll, AP/AR, cash flow, financial reporting, and job costing for project-based work. This role partners closely with ownership to improve processes, strengthen financial visibility, and support forecasting and strategic planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant looking to step into a Controller role with a stable, growing organization known for its long-tenured team and collaborative culture.
What we're looking for:
* Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience
* QuickBooks Desktop
* Job costing, WIP, and project-based accounting
* Payroll processing
* Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
