Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience applying ASC 606 and cost-to-cost revenue recognition.
• Ability to articulate concepts such as ETC, revenue true-ups, and their impact on margins.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, job costing, and variance analysis.
• Familiarity with government contracts, particularly allowable vs. non-allowable costs.
• Well-organized in managing documentation for audits and bids, with knowledge of FAR regulations.
• Experience in operational partnership with leadership, translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with an emphasis on cost accounting; CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting department while providing managerial accounting insights to management.
• Manage all accounting operations and oversee costs and capital expenditures.
• Guide the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports to track performance.
• Create and enforce business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
• Ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial statements and preparation of the corporate annual report.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing and forecasting business activity and financial status.
