Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred or close to completion with relevant experience.
• 5-8+ years of experience in accounting or finance, particularly in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in leading and developing finance or accounting teams.
• Strong business acumen with the capability to interpret financial data and provide operational insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French fluency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Finance in achieving departmental goals.
• Lead the financial close process, including monthly and year-end reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to enhance performance and profitability.
• Conduct in-depth cost analyses related to various operational metrics.
• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger and oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and guide high-performing accounting teams focused on accountability and improvement.
• Manage and supervise accounts payable, receivable, and fixed asset processes.
