Control System Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Role:

CoolIT Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced Control System Engineer to join our Engineering Team.As a Control Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of control systems for Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) products. This senior-level role involves managing complex engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical and software systems, and mentoring junior team members while driving high-performance, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Control System Design: Spearhead the design and development of advanced control systems for DLC products, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with mechanical and software components, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
    Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all control system designs and implementations are thoroughly documented andcomply withrelevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement:Identifyopportunities for system optimization and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability.


WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on system design, integration, and optimization
  • Proficiencyin programming languages commonly used in PLC systems (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
  • Experience in integrating control systems with mechanical and software components.
  • Proficiencyin developing P&IDs using AutoCAD Revit.
  • Experience with Altium for developing electrical schematics.
  • Proficiencyin designing and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Extensive experience with PLC hardware and software from leading manufacturers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley,Unitronics).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or similar professional credentials.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Revit for developing P&IDs.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex engineering challenges.
