Position Description:

Location: Open to locations across Canada within proximity to a CGI office to accommodate a hybrid work model.

CGI requires a Control-M Administrator to manage and evolve enterprise workload automation. You will integrate and schedule complex business and IT processes. You will implement, optimize, and operate the Control-M platform in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, acting as a technical subject-matter expert for client and internal CGI teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Administration, Deployment, and Evolution

Install, configure, and manage Control-M components (Server, EM, Agents, and APIs).
Administer the Control-M platform in diverse technical environments.
Manage and monitor enterprise workloads executed through Control-M.
Integrate Control-M with business applications, databases, DevOps toolchains, and cloud services using specific plug-ins and connection profiles.
Utilize the Control-M Web Client to oversee and manage workflows.
Operations and Support
Guarantee the stability, performance, availability, and resilience of automated batch processes.
Resolve complex technical incidents and act as an escalation point.
Optimize multi-system workflows continuously.
Platform Governance and Management
Define and enforce standards, policies, and best practices for workload automation.
Manage the platform lifecycle, versioning, and upgrades.
Prioritize platform enhancements with IT and application teams.
Advisory and Enablement
Act as a subject-matter expert for Control-M batch scheduling.
Train users and teams on platform capabilities and the Control-M Web Client.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, guidelines, and procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Technical Skills:

5 years' experience as a Control-M Administrator (Server, EM, Agents, Automation API).
Experience with Control-M plug-ins for services such as MFT, Snowflake, Databases, Databricks, WebServices, etc. (Familiarity with 1 or 2 is sufficient, as mechanics are similar).
Experience utilizing the Control-M Web Client.
Knowledge of the different connection profiles supported by Control-M and how to configure them.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automation scripting, and DevOps integrations.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Expertise in ITIL methodologies and platform governance principles.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$110,000. This role is an existing vacancy
