Job Title: Contracts Manager - Construction (EPC)

Anticipated Salary Range: $108,000 - $143,000, Negotiable

We're looking for a Contracts Manager to play a critical role in protecting and enabling successful project delivery at Boldt by leading contract strategy and risk management across complex construction projects. In this role, you'll partner closely with project teams, legal, HR, and finance to identify, analyze, and mitigate risk throughout the full project lifecycle ensuring strong contract alignment, informed decision-making, and successful execution. Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll bring expertise in construction contracts, insurance, negotiations, and risk mitigation, while influencing outcomes on high-impact projects and driving best practices that support operational excellence and long-term success.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $108,000 - $143,000 (negotiable) annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Accounting or Risk Management or other related coursework.
  • 7-10 years of contracts and risk management experience.
  • Certified Risk Management or other professional certification preferred.
    Strong negotiating skills and the ability to exercise sound business judgment and discretion is critical.
  • Extensive knowledge of legal principles and ability to identify high-risk terms; understanding of the impact of key terms to flow down.
  • Able to quickly identify and address critical issues on programs and contracts and lead the team to develop action plan to improve performance.
  • Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons' ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.

Nice to Have
  • Manage the day-to-day interaction with and serve as a resource to project teams regarding risk management issues.
  • Handle key aspects of contract review and negotiation including identifying benefits and potential disadvantages and coordinating legal and insurance review of contract terms and conditions where needed.
  • Analyze and understand insurable risks and potential risk mitigation opportunities; collaborate with project teams to ensure coordination between project activities, exposures, and appropriate insurance coverage.
