The Department of Medicine is looking for an experienced Contracts and Grants Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and other departmental leaders, and collaborating with other research administrative personnel, you will lead the Department's pre- and post-award administration team. Your main role involves overseeing intra- and extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. UCLA Health annual salary range for this position is $95,400.00 - $208,300.00

Required
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. (Required)
- 5+ years of experience in Research Administration. (Required)
- Proven experience as an effective team leader and supervisor, guiding team members to success. (Required)
- Expanded knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, including interpreting financial statements. (Required)
- Strengthened interpersonal skills for effective communication and relationship building. (Required)
- Enhanced ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and comply with policies and regulations. (Required)
- Improved analytical skills to analyze financial data and propose solutions. (Required)
- Heightened attention to detail in managing complex administrative and financial tasks. (Required)
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software. (Required)
