Full Job Description
Our Contracts team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business, and we are expanding our presence in Houston to support the contracts and agreements.

Reporting to Manager of Contracts, for Transportation Accounting and Contracts, the Contract Analyst will be responsible for processing customer contract requests, project-related transportation agreements, and facilitating capacity release transactions.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and facilitate the execution of contracts and amendments in compliance with pipeline tariffs, company policies and procedures, including standard, project related, non-conforming, discounted and/or negotiated rate contracts
  • Interpret and analyze contract documents, draft language, and process agreements in the system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution
  • Assist customers and facilitate the daily capacity release process, including troubleshooting issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to service agreements and/or capacity release
  • Participate in testing of system enhancements and new functionality
  • Support quarterly compliance reviews and regulatory filings
  • Perform additional tasks as needed


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of contract administration, energy industry or pipeline operations
  • Strong understanding of FERC Regulations and NAESB standards
  • Reliable, self-motivated and customer service focused
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and due dates
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook


Preferred Qualifications

  • Oil and Gas Contract experience
  • Solid experience with meeting deadlines
