Full Job Description
Are you ready to put your acquisition expertise to work on meaningful, high-impact programs? DCS is seeking motivated professionals to support dynamic U.S. Army acquisition efforts in a fast-paced product office environment in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. As an Acquisition Analyst, you will provide DoD acquisition lifecycle management support to Army acquisition programs and integrated government teams, working across a variety of programs and task areas where your contributions truly matter.

This is a full-time, onsite position.

Essential Job Functions:

Executes DoD acquisition lifecycle management for assigned projects.

Coordinates work products and tasks across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.

Prepares, configures, and staffs milestone documentation.

Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command.

Participates in source selection boards and conducts technical evaluations.

Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.

Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products.

Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule.

Identifies cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.

Develops draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents.

Works with contracting personnel to achieve desired contracted outcome.

Maintains configuration control of acquisition documents.

Prepares plans for product risk mitigation.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have a Secret clearance or be able to obtain one.

Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience.

Understand the FAR and have a demonstrated ability to develop contracting and procurement packages.

Knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Product Life Cycle Management Project Team Management Acquisition and Contracting documents (to include J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI 5000.02, Defense Acquisition System, and JCIDS.

Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Proactive, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

Experience working as a Government Contracts Specialist is a plus.

Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in Program Management acquisition career field or PMP Certification.
