Contracts Administrator Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Lead drafting, review, negotiation, dispute resolution, and managing of contracts with partners, vendors, and customers in both commercial and government
environments. - Assists with proposal development by reviewing RFPs/RFQs; coordinating with Operations, Finance, and Proposal teams; and communicating compliance
requirements, risk mitigation plans, termination procedures, and regulatory obligations to each as applicable. - Analyzes pricing, terms, and legal/contractual language, and assists in the creation of supporting documentation as it pertains to specific taskings.
- Negotiate and administer contracts to support the development and maintenance of relationships with partners, vendors, customers, critical suppliers, and
consultants in alignment with corporate goals. - Maintain contract administration files and ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable legal regulations.
- Lead or support contractual discussions during internal and external meetings, including Customer status meetings and weekly/monthly internal reviews.
- Assist in proposal development, including reviewing RFPs/RFQs to determine the company's capacity to fully comply with the request; coordinating with
Operations, Finance and Proposal Support POCs to ensure proposal milestones and deliverables are met; issuing correspondence to subcontract team members; and conducting price analysis on vendor and/or subcontractor rates for compliance. - Negotiate terms and conditions with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepares solicitation documentation for complex acquisitions, including company information, cover letters, solicitation fill-ins, terms and conditions or flow-down provisions, bid or performance evaluation factors, and other measures incorporated into each solicitation as appropriate for the procurement.
- Remain fully informed on all contract standards, plans and policies; assist in the creation of new contract and subcontract templates and forms as necessary; and updates procedures.
- Ensure contracts and subcontracts are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulations; consult with technical staff; and resolve matters of disagreement between the company and potential subcontractors or prime contractors.
- Develop and maintain contract administration files, including contract briefs.
- Obtain and track Certificates of Insurance and review them for compliance with client insurance requirements.
- Performs contract kickoffs and closeouts.
Qualifications and Skills:We welcome applicants from diverse professional backgrounds, including contracts, legal, finance, business operations, or other fields where you have experience analyzing agreements, understanding legal/technical nuances, and negotiating outcomes. Candidates for this position must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in commercial contracts administration; ideal candidates will have an understanding of various contract
types, including fixed-price, cost-type, and time and materials contracts. - Familiarity with contracts, agreements, or legal documents is a plus, but we also value strong critical thinking skills, analytical reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements, reseller agreements, change orders, CFRs/change orders, and
Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs). - Experience administering change orders, contract awards and close outs; managing invoice milestone schedules; and negotiating favorable payment terms.
- Experience managing deadlines, multitasking, and working in dynamic environments.
- Experience in government or commercial contracting, proposal support, or legal administration is a plus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Position may require limited travel.
Desired Characteristics and Experience:- Familiarity with the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act (previously known as the Truth in Negotiations Act or TINA)
- Knowledge of intellectual property matters to ensure adequate company protection.
- Knowledge of and experience with applying FAR, DFARS, HSAR, and agency supplements to contracts administration, as well as commercial contracts
management principles. - Knowledge of various contract types, relevant terms and conditions and policies governing assigned contracts, including proficiency in negotiation techniques.
- Experience with international contracting is a major plus but not a necessity.
- Experience with engineering procurement and service contracting.
- Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively, with an ownership mindset toward all assignments.

Pay & Benefits:
- Pay rate $75,000 to $95,000 based on experience
