Job Description
Contracts Administrator/Negotiator will work under the TLS LoB supporting the Air and Commercial Solutions (ACS) Market Segment. Main support will fall within the F-16 FAST Portfolio, though may be asked to support other portfolios/areas within the ACS Market Segment.
Responsibilities include contract administration, ensuring contract compliance and efficient, helping to developing negotiation strategies, and establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally. Advises management of contract matters and risks; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information. Participates in and/or conducts contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for accurate contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, customer specifications and legal requirements. Participates and/or leads in proposal preparation by reviewing proposal terms and conditions, conduct risk analysis and leads the program teams in developing mitigation strategies for proposal submittals. Is responsible for the evaluation of contract performance to resolve necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, compliance to contractual obligations and contract close-out.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 3 years of professional experience.
- Federal contracting, negotiation, and administration experience with USG DoW contracts, including with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Contracts experience, including all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration. Prior experience with USG cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis is desired.

- Some experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of various contract types ( CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA)
- Ability to work independently and Task oriented and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
- Basic working understanding and application of government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positivity and enthusiasm attitude; working collaboratively within teams.
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $73,400 - $127,075.
