SUMMARY
Provides advanced procurement and compliance data management and analytical services to support the Procurement ERP, E-procurement and other data/technology matters for Contracting & Procurement (C&P) to support organizational decision-making, operational improvement, and strategic initiatives. The C&P, ERP Support Specialist, is responsible for supporting end users, troubleshooting system issues, and driving process improvements related to the organization’s ERP platform (i.e., Workday) and designated E-procurement system. This position ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of procurement related workflows, reporting, and data within Workday, E-procurement System, B2G and other designated C&P systems as assigned. This position will act as the primary point of contact for help desk request, data management and serve as the main point of contact for help desk request and serve as a liaison between Procurement, IT/Workday, E-procurement Administrators and other C&P system needs. Designs and implements data analytics, research, and evaluation projects that transform data into actionable insights and support collaborative problem-solving across the organization.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide data management and analytics services to support organizational needs and initiatives
Transform data into actionable insights through analysis, visualization, and reporting
Respond to help desk requests related to Procurement functions in Financial (i.e., Workday) and E-procurement systems. Includes providing end-user training, identifying and coordinating workflow enhancements, developing, modifying C&P reports and investigating & correcting data entry or transactional errors.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement system improvements.
Document recurring issues and recommend process solutions.
Monitor system updates and releases to assess potential impacts on Procurement processes.
Support compliance and audit requirements through accurate reporting and data integrity.
Apply a range of analytical techniques including statistical analysis, data visualization, business process modeling, program evaluation, and related methods
Design and execute data-driven projects that support decision-making and improve operational effectiveness
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively
Support program evaluation, performance measurement, and outcome tracking efforts
Maintain and update data products, dashboards, and analytical tools
Support data sharing and process improvement initiatives across C&P and the organization
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Experience working with ERP and E-Procurement systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, iterative environment
Principles and practices of data analytics, statistical analysis, and research methods
Data visualization techniques and tools
Business process analysis and improvement methodologies
Program evaluation and performance measurement concepts
Organizational operations and the application of data to support decision-making
Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, GIS, statistical software)
Ability to design and execute analytical projects from concept through implementation
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to organize, manage, and maintain data and analytical outputs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in Procurement, Finance, or related operational functions
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or end-user support
Familiarity with reporting tools within ERP (I.e., Workday Report Writer) and E-procurement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
