Full Job Description
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Contracting Officer (NH-1102-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Qualifications/Requirements:

The Contracting Officer (CO) is responsible for leading, overseeing, guiding, and managing acquisition programs and projects within assigned areas of responsibility. The successful candidate will apply a strong working knowledge of Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contract types to successfully execute complex acquisitions and ensure work complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

This position is eligible for situational/ad-hoc telework. It is NOT a remote position.

Travel may be required for this position.

Must possess or be able to obtain an unlimited warrant.

Must achieve, demonstrate, and maintain the appropriate professional qualifications and certifications necessary to assume and execute key acquisition requirements.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school is highly desired.
