Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Contract Manager, you will primarily support commercial contracts pertaining to the sale and service of Siemens Energy's portfolio of products, systems, and solutions, and be expected to provide innovative and practical ways to deal with contract requirements, negotiations, obligations, and risk exposures to business partners.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Write, review, analyze, modify, and negotiate contractual documents to achieve acceptable risk levels.
  • Support business development team in interactions with customers and vendors.
  • Write, review, analyze, modify, and negotiate memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, changes to existing agreements, settlement agreements, technology development agreements, cooperation agreements, and other contractual terms and conditions.
  • Prepare contractual and legal risk analysis and summaries for review and approval by management.
  • This position is for Siemens Energy's offices in Orlando, Florida or Raleigh, North Carolina. Relocation assistance is not available. The position will primarily support Siemens Energy's Grid Technologies business in North America but may also provide support to other Siemens Energy businesses.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience drafting and negotiating contracts in an energy, construction, or commercial contracts environment, or equivalent litigation experience
  • Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Pragmatic problem-solving approach with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and business needs
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues, business partners, and senior executives
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
  • Commercial transaction or equivalent litigation experience
  • Energy industry experience, preferably in the power transmission sector
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
