Contract Manager - Robotics Supply Chain
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support a growing industrial robotics and automation supply chain organization. This role will lead contract negotiations, drafting, administration, and supplier coordination for robotics components, equipment, manufacturing, software, and integration services.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial contracts, procurement, or supply chain operations within a hardware-focused environment. This person will work closely with engineering, operations, finance, suppliers, and outside counsel to support the development, deployment, and scaling of robotics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the negotiation, drafting, review, and management of commercial agreements with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
  • Manage a high volume of contracts, purchase orders, amendments, work orders, and statements of work with minimal oversight.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master services agreements, supply agreements, equipment purchase agreements, manufacturing agreements, licensing agreements, and statements of work.
  • Maintain and oversee a centralized contract database, ensuring agreements, milestones, supplier obligations, deliverables, and renewal dates are accurately tracked.
  • Develop processes and mechanisms to monitor contract milestones, supplier performance, deliverables, and commercial obligations.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and legal stakeholders to resolve contract, procurement, and supplier-related issues.
  • Support procurement strategy, supplier relationship management, and commercial planning activities.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, clients, and outside counsel on contract negotiations and issue resolution.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and process improvement opportunities across contract management and supplier operations.
  • Prepare contract summaries, reports, and updates for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Handle confidential information, including supplier pricing, technical specifications, sourcing strategies, and commercial terms, with professionalism and discretion.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in contracts management, procurement, supply chain, commercial operations, or a related field.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, purchase agreements, supply agreements, and amendments.
  • Ability to independently manage a high volume of contracts, purchase orders, and projects while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, accurate, and business-focused legal and commercial documents.
  • Strong organizational, process management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently, react quickly to changing priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and legal.
  • Ability to manage confidential supplier, pricing, technical, and commercial information with discretion.
  • Exposure to hardware, manufacturing, industrial, robotics, automation, aerospace, automotive, or another hardware-heavy industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting robotics, automation, industrial manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or similar supply chain environments.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, procurement, or supplier management systems.
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa or similar tools.
  • JD, paralegal certification, or related legal contracting experience.
  • Experience supporting supplier negotiations, sourcing activities, and manufacturing procurement.
