Responsibilities/Authority:
The Contract Manager is responsible for managing, administering, and overseeing contracts that support Q-Free's projects, operations, and services. This role ensures that contracts are executed in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements while supporting business objectives, risk management, and operational success.
In addition, the role will be serving as assisting quality manager to the Global Director of Quality & HSE, as well as basic corporate governance matters.
The Contract Manager works closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, customers, and legal or procurement partners to ensure contract terms are clearly defined, understood, and enforced throughout the contract lifecycle. A background in law is beneficial but not required.

Most important work tasks:
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting support, review, execution, amendments, renewals, and closeout
- Ensure contract terms align with Q-Free's business objectives, project requirements, and regulatory obligations
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation
Contract Review & Risk Management
- Review contracts for compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and regulatory requirements
- Identify contractual risks and work with internal stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
- Track obligations, milestones, deliverables, and expiration dates to ensure compliance
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters with vendors, customers, and internal teams
- Collaborate with project managers, operations, finance, and procurement teams to support the company's initiatives
- Support negotiations by coordinating feedback, clarifying terms, and documenting agreed changes
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Monitor contract value, pricing, and payment terms in coordination with finance
- Review invoices and ensure billing aligns with contractual terms and approved scope
- Support change orders, claims, and dispute resolution as needed
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local requirements (as applicable to company projects)
- Support audits, internal reviews, and reporting related to contract performance and compliance
- Contribute to process improvements, templates, and best practices for contract management
Corporate governance
- Basic corporate matters
- Insurance renewal and certificate management
- Business licenses and state corporation registrations
Quality & HSE
- Driving compliance to Q-Free Way
- Identifying nonconformances, ensuring they are registered and that ownership is taken within the organization
- Driving Risk Management in ATMS (e.g. quarterly meetings)

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, contract administration, or commercial management

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
