Salary: $115K-$140K
Hybrid in Vienna, VA three days a week.

Responsibilities
- Support our customer's business objectives by negotiating, executing, and managing commercial contracts for the acquisition of goods and services.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
- Lead negotiations on contract modifications with stakeholder input.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, requirements, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the appropriate level of effort and attention based on contract complexity, value, and risk.
- Establish acquisition strategies, including contract type, milestones, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate contract and purchase agreement reviews with Procurement Management and the Office of General Counsel as required.
- Analyze proposals and perform cost and price analysis to determine reasonableness.
- Develop negotiation objectives and lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors.
- Meet with business units and vendors prior to contract execution to review key contract terms, deliverables, and timelines.
- Interpret contract provisions and provide guidance to business units.
- Lead negotiations on contract modifications.
- Close out contracts or issue termination notices and review settlement proposals.
- Present recommendations to resolve unique and complex issues.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Anticipate issues and identify solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with contract law, terms, and conditions.
- Experience in acquisition planning, strategy development, negotiations, contract management and administration, pricing analysis, and acquisition requirements.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracting and business practices.
- Experience evaluating and mitigating contractual risk.
- Experience preparing written bids and proposals.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of cost containment strategies.
- Ability to multitask and work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively in difficult situations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Contract Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
