Full Job Description

Contract Manager (Accenture LLP; Mountain View, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Contract Manager in Mountain View, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Liaise with account leadership, client, commercial and business stakeholders to understand client contract needs and priorities, and support account strategy, objectives, and opportunities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop contract management supporting team members taking responsibility for all performance management activities.
  • Responsible for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties.
  • Support pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Act as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Contract Management.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Managing complex projects with a large cross-border team to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation;
  • Supporting compliance in regulatory, tax, trade, and data privacy policies;
  • Building relationships and governance with internal business teams and clients;
  • Collaborating with internal or external client executives to influence and drive key commercial decisions and negotiate contracts;
  • Reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contract regulations, focusing on force majeure, dispute resolution, and payment terms;
  • Drafting commercial terms conditions for clients and subcontractors; and
  • Implementing contract lifecycle management principles.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
