Job DescriptionYou will be the Contract Management professional for the Contracts Management Team. Our team is responsible for driving contract strategy, execution, and compliance for high-impact defense programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Contract Management professional you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end contract activities that support THAAD program pursuits.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Administer contracts from capture through award, performance, and closeout, ensuring all terms are met.
- Lead negotiations and provide business advice across functions such as program management, finance, legal, and engineering.
- Serve as the authorized company representative to customer buying teams, building effective relationships and safeguarding company interests.
- Coordinate audit support and verify contractual compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assess risk on proposals and contract changes, offering alternative language and mitigation strategies while preparing reports for senior leadership.

Basic QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 1+ years of professional experience.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Should be detail-oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment
Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships
Must be able to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.
Must have excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
The qualified individual must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen
Ability to travel as required for this position
Desired skillsPrior Contracts Negotiation experience
Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or prior work experience working IAMD programs
Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience
Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures
Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type (CPFF, CPIF) contracts
Ability to engage in routine and unique problems/ issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $73,400 - $127,075.
