Position Overview

SUMMARY (Basic Purpose of the Job)
The Contract Management Analyst supports Capital Health9 contract lifecycle management process. This role assists with establishing efficient workflows, policies and internal financial controls for organizational agreements, tracking each document from the initial requisition through final invoice verification. The role also ensures all contracts are thoroughly reviewed, monitored, audited and maintained in strict accordance with organizational policies and federal healthcare regulatory requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor9s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies or a related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

Experience: Three years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in contract management or healthcare compliance when accompanied by a Bachelor9s degree. Seven years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in contract management or healthcare compliance when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent. Direct experience in contract compliance is strongly preferred.

Other Credentials:

Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statutes, HIPAA, and Business Associate Agreements. Understanding of the practical, financial and regulatory requirements of physician contract and medical director agreements, including Fair Market Value (FMV) standards. Working knowledge of contract management software, pipeline tracking and routing systems from initial request to digital archiving. Understanding of how operations, supply chain, legal counsel and finance departments interconnect during the contract lifecycle. Professional proficiency with contract management software and the full Microsoft Office suite of applications. Natural ability to explain complex contractual data clearly, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse group of stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support the administration of the system-wide contract operations framework to ensure organizational agreements comply with internal policies and healthcare regulatory standards
  • Administer Capital Health9s contract pipeline, tracking the requisition, drafting, execution and digital archiving of physician arrangements and enterprise-wide vendor agreements
  • Coordinate the documentation and routing process for physician contracts and professional service arrangements
  • Develop and maintain internal tracking dashboards to monitor contract lifecycles, expiration dates and pending milestones
  • Monitor operational compliance with healthcare legal standards, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statutes and HIPAA Business Associate Agreements
  • Assist with executing internal financial audit controls to validate that incoming vendor and physician invoices match approved, active contract terms
  • Identify significant contract compliance anomalies and escalate high-risk matters immediately through the appropriate leadership chain
  • Gather data and provide research support to help leadership formulate resolution strategies for contract disputes, performance issues or compliance variances
  • Compile routine compliance metrics, risk assessments and pipeline trend reports to support executive-level review and decision-making
  • Monitor contract performance metrics and research industry best practices to identify opportunities for continuous process improvement across the team
  • Coordinate with cross-functional leaders including finance, legal, human resources, supply chain, information technology and clinical departments to align contract tracking with organizational goals
  • Assist with the implementation of practical policies, procedures and daily protocols for system-wide contract administration and compliance monitoring
  • Perform other duties as assigned
