Contract Logistics Operations Manager
How you create impact
As the Contract Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse operation, ensuring the safe, efficient, and productive delivery of third-party logistics services. You will lead operational teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, oversee labor planning, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer focus.
• Lead and direct warehouse operations to achieve objectives related to productivity, service, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Conduct regular operational meetings and communications to establish clear goals and performance expectations.
• Develop labor plans and staffing strategies to support current and future business requirements.
• Ensure the execution of operational procedures related to receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, and material handling.
• Drive facility and equipment utilization while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Promote a culture of Lean principles, safety, and operational excellence throughout the operation.
• Monitor operational, quality, and safety metrics and implement corrective actions as required.
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees through both formal and informal development programs.
• Partner with Quality and QSHE teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
• Support strategic initiatives and other operational priorities as required.

What we would like you to bring
• 7+ years of experience within a Contract Logistics, 3PL, warehouse, or distribution center environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced operation.
• Demonstrated experience managing large frontline workforces of 50+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, WMS platforms, material handling equipment, and operational processes.
• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and workplace safety practices.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, ISO, or GxP environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
