TheContract Coordinatorplays a key role in supportingtheRoad& BridgeDivisioncontracting and vendor management processes from start to finish. This position coordinates withRoad & BridgeDivisionpersonnel,Purchasing,vendors, contractors,theCounty Attorney9s Office, Risk Management, and other stakeholders to ensure contracts areaccurate, compliant, properly executed, and effectively managed. SCHEDULE:
Monday 6ursday, 6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. (four 10-hour shifts). The first six weeks will be fully onsite; thereafter, a hybrid work arrangement may be available with manager approval.
COMPENSATION:
Hiring Range:$105,460.48 -$116,006.85 USD Annual
Compensation will bedeterminedbased on education,experienceand skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Contract Administration:Coordinate and oversee the contract administration process acrossthe Road & BridgeDivision, working closely withPurchasing,vendors, contractors, management, the County Attorney9s Office, and Risk Management. Ensure contractscomply withCounty requirements, policies, and financial best practices. Develop, renew, track, edit, and route contracts for approval and execution.Assistwith developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), coordinate the RFP evaluation and vendor selection process, and ensure all required documentation is complete andmaintained. Monitor contract-related payments and fees to support budget management and cost control.
Vendor and Contract Relationship Management:Manage vendor relationships and contract performance, including negotiating contract terms, service changes, and fees. Monitor vendor compliance and service delivery,identifyand address performance orcompliance issues, and recommendappropriate correctiveactions when needed. Investigate and resolve invoicing and payment issues, respond to contract-related inquiries, and communicate regularly with staff and vendorsregardingservices and resources. Monitor financial activity and communicate potential issues to the budget manager.
Data and Financial Management:Maintainaccuratecontractor and contract information in databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems. Monitor contractutilizationand fiscal activity, including reviewing reports and contract spending against established dollar limits.Analyze contract and financial data and provide recommendations to support effective resource management and decision-making.
Other Duties:Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor9s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, finance, contract management, or a related field; and
Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in contract administration, procurement, vendor management, financial administration, or a related field.
Equivalency: A bachelor9s degree may substitute foran associate degree and five (5) years of experience or a high school diploma/ GED and six (6) years of experience.
Preferred knowledge,skillsand abilities:
Experience in contract administration and vendor management, preferably in a public sector or government environment.
Strong knowledge of procurement practices, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor selection, contract management, and compliance requirements.
Experience with budget management, procurement processes, and contract-related financial activities, including authorizing payments and working collaboratively with financial analysts.
Proficiencywith Workday, particularly budget and procurement functions.
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vendors, Procurement, Finance, management, and other internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of contract administration responsibilities.
Ability tomonitorand maintain compliance requirements in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
Additional Job Information:
A valid Colorado driver9s license is required for positions that drive on County Business in either a county or personal vehicle within30-days3of hire or beginning to serve as an intern or volunteer.
