Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Analyst to support the procurement of third-party services through the company's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform. This role plays a key part in ensuring contracting activities are executed with sound commercial judgment and aligned to contract terms that drive strong performance, value creation, and positive project outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring working knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes and systems, with the ability to identify risks, contract gaps, and improvement opportunities throughout the contract negotiation and management lifecycle. All work is performed in compliance with company policies, procedures, training requirements, and work standards, while supporting safe, environmentally responsible, and fair business practices.

What you'll do

  • Provide contract negotiation and contract management support in alignment with Supply Chain strategies and business objectives
  • Manage and administer contracts in accordance with Supply Chain policies, procedures, and delegated authorities
  • Identify contracting risks, issues, and continuous improvement opportunities across contract negotiation and administration processes
  • Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain leadership, Business Unit stakeholders, Accounts Payable, internal Supply Chain teams, and external contractors and suppliers
  • Assess contract scope, schedule, and performance risks and escalate matters to management when changes or impacts are identified
  • Lead the review, validation, and assessment of contractor-submitted cost and schedule impacts in accordance with Supply Chain policies and procedures
  • Maintain complete and compliant contractual documentation, including internal and external correspondence, in accordance with contract terms and Supply Chain requirements
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report contractor performance against contractual KPIs
  • Facilitate and lead periodic contract progress and performance review meetings
  • Identify, administer, and track cost savings initiatives and contract value leakage
  • Support the evaluation of incumbent and prospective suppliers, including assessment of past performance, financial strength, market position, strategic alignment, capacity, and core capabilities
  • Support the development of sourcing and negotiation strategies
  • Participate in supplier negotiations, communicate iterative outcomes to business stakeholders, and support final sourcing recommendations
  • Ensure contracts accurately reflect final negotiated terms, award decisions, and approved commercial outcomes
  • Contribute to team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliver results consistent with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure individual compliance with all required training, work standards, policies, and procedures


Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Contract Administration
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, with midstream, energy generation, or construction experience considered a strong asset
