Contract Analyst

Location: National Capital Region

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000

We are actively seeking a Contract Analyst to support our civilian client. This role will provide contract administration support, conduct market research and supply chain risk management analysis, interpret federal acquisition regulations, and apply knowledge of government contracting practices to support contractor management and SCRM (Supply Chaing Risk Management) activities.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.

Work Description:

In support of this civilian client, the Contract Analyst will provide contract administration and acquisition support while conducting comprehensive market research to assess supply chain vendor ownership, affiliations, capabilities, performance history, and other risk indicators. The Contract Analyst will prepare, review, submit, maintain, and track contract and funding documentation; respond to contract-related inquiries; provide guidance on complex contract administration issues; and research, analyze, and interpret federal acquisition regulations. This role will also use knowledge of government-industry business relationships, contractor networks, commercial motivations, and industry cost structures to inform supply chain risk management activities.

Responsibilities: The Contract Analyst will support tasks such as:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify resources and collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain vendors
  • Assess vendor ownership, affiliations, capabilities, performance history, and other relevant risk indicators in support of SCRM activities
  • Prepare, review, submit, maintain, and track contract and funding documentation
  • Maintain contract records and tracking systems and respond to contract-related inquiries
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on complex and unique contract administration issues
  • Research, analyze, and interpret federal acquisition regulations, including FAR requirements
  • Apply knowledge of government-industry business relationships, contractor organizations, commercial motivations, and supply chain networks to support SCRM activities
  • Use understanding of cost structures and industry cost analysis to inform supply chain risk management activities

Minimum Requirements:
  • U. S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 11 to 13 years of experience managing Federal contracts
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
  • Experience assessing contract processes and procedures
  • Experience applying government business practices to contractor management
  • Experience providing contract administration support, including preparing and reviewing contract and funding documentation

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience supporting supply chain risk management, vendor risk analysis, or market research activities
  • Experience analyzing vendor ownership, affiliations, performance history, capabilities, or other risk indicators
  • Knowledge of government-industry business relationships, prime and subcontractor networks, commercial motivations, and industry cost structures
  • Experience supporting federal health, public health, emergency preparedness, or HHS-related mission areas
