Do you have an eye for the detail's others might miss? MaineHealth is looking for a Contract Analyst - Legal Affairs to help keep contracts moving from review and negotiation through final approval and execution. You'll work closely with contract owners, specialists, and other partners to review and interpret contract terms, negotiate terms and conditions, evaluate agreements, and make sure contracts follow the right processes before they're signed.

We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into the details, asking the right questions, and keeping multiple agreements organized and moving forward. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, and we'd love to find someone with around three years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts. Paralegal or similar legal experience is a plus.

Summary:

The Contract Analyst role is responsible for contract evaluation, organization and analysis. This individual works closely with the Contract Owner, Contract Specialist and other contracting parties to ensure compliance with contract management processes including valuation, interpretation of contract provisions, negotiation of terms and conditions and execution by appropriate signature authority.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  2. License/Certifications: ABA-approved paralegal certificate or other comparable legal experience preferred
  3. Experience: Three years of experience reviewing, negotiating, drafting and managing contracts preferred
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Microsoft Office

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20 to $104,353.60 per year.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
