Full Job Description
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. The open Contract Administrator Sr. position in Manchester, NH supports contracting activities within the F-35 Development portfolio under the F-35 Solutions Product Line in the Electronic Combat Systems (ECS) Business Area. The selected candidate will support F-35 Block 4 Electronic Warfare development and sustainment activities to shape and close business opportunities. Contract Administrator Sr. responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Own the day-to-day contractual relationship with our customers. Keep and maintain official contractual records for all assigned proposals, contracts, and agreements. Coordinate, negotiate, and manage complex proposals and contracts with minimal supervision. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as all legal, regulatory, and customer requirements. Support complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative. Resolve challenging contractual situations by working with program teams to gather, interpret, analyze and present information. This position will be posted for at least 5 calendar days. The posting will remain active until the position is filled, or a qualified pool of candidates is identified. Required Skills and Education 30 Sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers. 30 Computer skills to maintain contract records within our business systems as well as prepare reports, presentations, letters and documents. 30 Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. 30 Demonstrated research and presentation skills. 30 Eligible for or holds a US DoD SECRET level clearance or higher. 30 Strong hands-on knowledge of, and experience with, FAR and DFAR and export regulations. Preferred Skills and Education 30 Experience with the complex RFPs and proposal development at BAE Systems. 30 Experience managing various USG and prime contract customers. 30 Holds an active DoD SECRET clearance and holds or is eligible for a Special Access Program clearance.
